ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Assistants to support the delivery of our competitions nationwide. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about dance or performing arts who thrive in a lively, high-energy event environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with registration, front-of-house tasks, awards handling, and backstage operations

• Confidently assist with MC duties, including announcing segments and presenting awards on stage with a microphone

• Operate music systems and coordinate dancers backstage to maintain event flow

• Support dancers, families, and studio staff with professionalism and friendliness

• Work closely with Event Managers to ensure each event runs smoothly and efficiently

• Adapt quickly to last-minute changes and assist with fast-paced problem-solving

REQUIREMENTS

• Familiarity with the performing arts or dance industry

• Comfortable speaking on a microphone and presenting on stage

• Ability to operate basic event or music tech systems (training can be provided)

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and think on your feet

• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)

• Willingness to travel interstate for events
