ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for experienced Event Managers to lead the smooth and successful delivery of our competitions across Australia. This role is fast-paced, leadership-focused, and ideal for someone with existing event management experience, particularly within the performing arts sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the full event operation on-site, including bump in, bump out, stage flow, and all event coordinations

• Liaise with studio directors, parents, adjudicators, performers, and venue staff

• Confidently MC portions of the event, present awards, and make announcements using a microphone

• Operate music systems and oversee backstage flow, coordinating dancers to ensure smooth transitions

• Manage unexpected changes, technical issues, or schedule disruptions with calm, quick problem-solving

• Maintain brand consistency and a high-quality experience for all attendees

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience running events is essential, ideally dance competitions or performing arts events

• Strong leadership, organisation, and multitasking skills

• Confident public speaking, microphone use and presenting on stage

• Ability to operate music and event tech systems (training provided if needed)

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work “on the fly”

• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)

• Willingness to travel interstate for events

• Professional, positive, and adaptable attitude
