THERN REYNOLDS BIOGRAPHY

Thern began his professional career in Musical Theatre at the age of 16 in the original Australian production of 42nd Street. He has barely stopped since!

His versatility as a performer and creative has seen him jump from onstage to offstage roles with ease.

His most recent credits include Resident Director/ Choreographer of Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Rebel Wilson’s new film The Deb and Choreographing All Shook Up for Hama Productions.

He was Resident Director/ Choreographer of The Rocky Horror Show and Resident Director of Cabaret. His extensive Dance Captain credits include Miss Saigon (OG Oz Cast 1995), RENT (OG Oz Cast 1999), CHICAGO (Oz 2000), An Officer & A Gentleman, Happy Days The Arena Spectacular, Rock of Ages as Mayor/Paul Gill, and Chess in Concert 2021.

Thern has played a variety of featured roles including The Cherries Man in the European Tour of FOSSE, Brit in We Will Rock You, Joseph in Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, General Lord Glossop in Jekyll & Hyde, Tulsa in GYPSY, Renaldi in Funny Girl, Billy Lawlor in 42nd Street (Green Room Award Nomination), Lewis in PIPPIN & Wing in Hot Shoe Shuffle.

Further credits include ensemble roles in West Side Story, Tonight’s The Night (London), Dream Lover, Easter Parade, Red Hot & Rhonda, My Fair Lady, The Boy From Oz (OG Oz Cast), Mary Poppins, CHESS (1997), South Pacific, Jesus Christ Superstar & EVITA. He also appeared in the films De-Lovely & Moulin Rouge.
